Project involved seismic and structural upgrades as well as overall renovation of an historic 9,000 SF single story, 60-year-old building constructed during World War II as part of the U.S. Army Fort. The work included asbestos abatement and demolition, new roofing, new siding, new HVAC system, new electrical, communications and fire alarm systems, new fire suppression system, new insulation, new flooring, new drywall, new paint, and new acoustical ceiling system. Contract also provided for site upgrades including the design and construction of a new parking lot, sidewalks, access ramps, new storm drainage system, and new landscaping.
