Safety

At Kevcon, we continuously strive for zero harm to personnel, material assets, and the environment.  We believe that all incidents can be prevented through proper training, planning, and compliance with our trademark safety Think • Act • Be SAFE program.  All of Kevcon’s field staff are CPR/First Aid Certified and OSHA certified with at least 30 hours of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Cal/OSHA training to ensure safe and healthy working conditions.  We are 100 percent compliant with all Federal and California safety regulations (OSHA and CAL/OSHA) and share best practices internally and externally. Our teams bring safety to wherever we do business.

On site, all employees are required to wear their personal protective equipment at all times.  Also, employees and subcontractors participate in weekly safety meetings and must adhere to a Site Specific Safety Plan created by Kevcon prior to the start of every project.  This extensive plan covers:

•    Training Requirements
•    Hazard/Risk Analysis
•    Fire Protection
•    Site Control Measures
•    Personal Protective Equipment
•    Heat Stress Monitoring
•    Emergency Response Plan
