Kevcon Inc. Awarded Mezzanine Renovation by the VA Roseburg Healthcare System
Escondido, CA January 23, 2009 -- Kevcon Inc. was awarded a contract for the renovation of a mezzanine in building 10 of he VA Medical Center in Roseburg Oregon. The work is to be completed within 60 calendar days after the receipt of Notice to Proceed. This contract is an addition to several projects contracted by the Department of Veterans Affairs and the VA Roseburg Healthcare System thanks to the great work Kevcon Inc., represented by Jeff Wiggins, has been doing for the past 7 months.
The project consists on building an archive process center with climate control to protect historical documents that are over 75 years old. These documents are of extreme importance to streamline the maintenance and repair of the Roseburg facility. Once completed, it will house a state of the art scanner and plotter to maintain digital records of the blueprints and other irreplaceable documents as well as an archive of the actual blueprints. The building will be outfitted with upgraded electrical, new light fixtures, new ceiling, walls and flooring.
The VA Roseburg Healthcare System consists of one Veterans Health Administration facility and 3 Community Based Outpatient Clinics. The medical center offers primary care and hospital services for the 62,000 veterans who reside in Central and Southern Oregon as well as Northern California.

Kevcon Inc. Successfully Breaks Ground in the South Florida National Cemetary
Escondido, CA November 13, 2008 -- The new 313- acre South Florida National Cemetery will serve veterans and their families for the next 50 years. The cemetary is located in Palm Beach Couty in Lake Worth.

Roseburg Veterans Affairs Medical Center Dedicates New MRI Unit
Escondido, CA October 21, 2008 -- The culmination of a two year project was marked by the dedication and grand opening of the first MRI unit at the Roseburg VA Medical Center. The unit will serve residents in Southern Oregon and Northern California. Michael Fisher, Gary DuBois, Susan Yeager and Max McIntosh cut the inaugural riboon marking the grand opening of the MRI Unit. Officials expect to conduct approximately 1,500 scans during the first year at a rate of 6 to 8 scans per day. Kevcon Inc. is proud to have been part of such an important project that will impact the lives of veterans living in this region in such positive manner.

Roseburg Veterans Affairs Medical Center Welcomes New MRI Unit
Escondido, CA August 25, 2008 -- After a month of hard work, crews from Kevcon, finished the installation of the underground utilities and the preparation of the foundation for the new building that houses the MRI equipment. The Roseburg Veterans Affairs Medical Center will now be able to provide their patients with new state of the art unit which will allow patients to receive the scan without a trip to Portland and without the 5 to 6-week waiting period. Kevcon present at the 4th Annual National Veteran Small Business Conference and Expo
Escondido, CA June 16, 2008 -- Kevcon Inc will be present at the 4th Annual National Veteran Small Business Conference Expo at the Caesar's Palace, Las Vegas Nevada. The conference will start on Monday, July 7 with a Welcome Reception and will conclude on July 10.
The conference will provide valuable information regarding Veteran Small Business legislation, information on Veteran Small Business Programs throughout the Federal Government, getting on the CSA Schedule, effective business development strategies, job sourcing, trends and networking.
In addition to the conference, there will be an Expo to showcase Federal Government Agencies, Prime Contractors and Veteran-Owned and Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. Kevcon Inc's leadership team will be there to provide information about their services, solutions and experience.
